SpotCrime - the most comprehensive online source of crime information - commissioned SLS to create an iPhone-friendly version of its website. This was a unique challenge because we needed to present a lot of data to the user but had a limited viewing area (the iPhone screen).

By using the application, users can become more aware of their surroundings and get to know their neighborhood a little better.

The iPhone application has been a success so far and is being used by thousands of iPhone users every day.

Some neat features of the web application:

Rotating your phone will cause the map to go full-screen
User-friendly buttons for navigating the map: the buttons are round and somewhat transparent, making the most of the small screen
Easily navigable list of cities for which crimes are reported
