Unlike many programmers, I grew up in a small country town on a horse farm in Western New York. I began computing on an Apple IIe and later got involved in writing html pages and AOL programs way past my bedtime throughout middle school. I later moved into the city of Buffalo, NY, where I went to high school and first dipped into the world of employment and strayed from programming in lieu of socializing. When it came time to pick schools and decide on a major, that very side of me I had grown astray from came back...and now I'm a graduated computer scientist.
